Alyana Cabral is a multi-disciplinary artist from Manila, Philippines. She mainly performs as a singer and DJ as her electronica alias “TeeGee.” Alyana also works in the film industry as an actress and musical score composer. As a sound artist, curator, and writer, she has performed in art festivals and participated in residency programs in Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, and Germany.
As an activist, Alyana is a co-founder of Kababae Mong Tao, a women and arts platform empowering young feminist artists through exhibitions, discussions, and concerts. She is also a peasant advocate, volunteering in activities for food security and farmers’ rights, through her collective, SAKA (Artist Alliance for Genuine Agrarian Reform and Rural Development).
